Big news today from Waymo and Hyundai. The automaker, one of my favorite brands to work with, announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Waymo. In the first phase, Waymo’s self-driving tech will be integrated into Hyundai’s all-electric Ioniq 5s.
I’m excited about this! The Ioniq 5 has always been a consistent seller for the dealerships I’ve worked with. Hyundai’s strong monthly incentives have also helped dealerships in their advertising efforts. Plus, these vehicles will be manufactured in the USA at Hyundai’s Georgia facility.
